Bezovec - Františkova vila (Francis’s Villa)
Reliefs at beginning of the Unruly line
Patrik Kovačovský is the reliefs´ author. Two motives are depicted – the Zobor Script and Frauenfeld Plan. The document from 1113 represents the fi rst known geographical, topographical and residential list of individual areas at the West, North and partly Central Slovakia. The Script lists 22 larger and 13 smaller cloisters. The Frauenfeld Plan was a document made as lithography in 1824. It depicts the topography of the spa village Teplice and part of the Spa Island.
The Story of Springs Fountain
It was made according the project by architects Bohuslav Pernecký, Anna Pernecká, Marianna Bogyová and Denisa Krupová as an integral part of the pedestrial zone. The fountain tells a story about healing springs in the Váh River environs. It is composed in such way a pedestrian can enter it and experience the joy springing from its waters, energy and positive effect on human being.

The Linden Tree – the Rotary International 100th Anniversary
The linden tree was dedicated in 2004 to the City of Piešťany by the local Rotary Club at the occasion of the 100th anniversary of establishing the Rotary International. Rotary International is a worldwide society of leading personalities from various professions who provide humanitarian service, help, and support and maintain high ethical standards in all areas of life. They also help to spread good will, mutual understanding and peace in the world. The Piešťany Rotary Club was established in 1992. It organises various regular events, benefi cial concerts, Christmas teas and balls, and uses proceeds from these for humanitarian activities.

Villa Astoria
T. G. Masaryk Linden Tree
A tree planted at the occasion of T. G. Masaryk’s, the then Czechoslovakia President, short visit to Piešťany. The linden tree is a symbol of respect and thanks to Masaryk for his support in 1919 when he accepted the City of Piešťany petition for governmental help to work out a regulation plan of its spa part.
Spa Committee – PIC
The building was erected in 1924 – 1925 according to a project by architect S. Bresciani who lived in Piešťany at the time. It was later modifi ed in line of the project from the architectural office J. Merganc – O. Klimeš. The main eclectic façade anticipates the younger post-modern style by half century. The Piešťany Information Centre is already residing in the building for several years.

Hotel Slovan
The treatment house, formerly known as Grand Hotel Royal, was built in 1906 according to a project architect A. Oberländer. It was the fi rst large hotel construction in Piešťany with 160 beds capacity and lavish dimensions of dinning, social and other needed premises and terraces. The object was closed down in 1986 and since that time there are thoughts about its reconstruction.

Berlin (Dr. Cmunt), Anna, Erna, Paula, Lívia, Riviéra – a set of guest houses
It was built at the end of the 20´s in the 20th century, between 1927 and 1930 in line with the projects by S. Bresciani (Dr. Cmunt), F. Weinwurm and A. Szönyi (Anna, Riviéra), G. Gerenday (Erna), A. Slatinský (Paula), Weinwurm and Vécsei (Lívia). The attractive location helped the cluster of these buildings to their reputation of the inter-war architecture in open air exposition.

Vila Löger
The building with excess of beams by unknown author represents Romantic, the then so called Spa Style of the last decades of the 19th century. It is the remains of picturesque and romantic architectural cluster of the former King’s Row. The original oriel at the main façade it the oldest preserved oriel in Piešťany.
Hospital
It was built after the WW II when two inter-war treatment houses were inter-connected – the Dr. Schmidt and Dr. Weisz Special Sanatorium and Dr. Brežný Palace Sanatorium. The adjustments, tied to the hospital reconstruction and subsequent use, were made at the beginning of the 21st century, and respected the purist character of the Special Sanatorium façade.
Colonnade Bridge
The reinforced concrete promenade bridge, also known as the Glass or Colonnade Bridge, was built in 1931 – 1933 according to a project by architect Emil Belluš. The bridgehead is adorned with the world famous statue of the Crutch-breaker in oversized dimensions, made by artist Róbert Kühmayer. There are two inscriptions at the bridge façade – the name of an ode by Adam Trajan “Saluberrimae Pistinienses Thermae” (the Most Healing Piešťany Spa).
